This entry-level apprenticeship introduces students to automotive restoration, collision repair, and mechanical trades while providing valuable life mentorship.
The program is built around four primary goals:
Providing a safe and productive environment for young people after school.
Offering hands-on exposure to the art and science of automotive restoration.
Preparing participants for advanced apprenticeships and secondary education opportunities.
Providing positive male role models and mentorship for youth.
Over the years, the program has inspired students to pursue careers in the automotive industry, including acceptance into the prestigious McPherson College Automotive Restoration Program. Many participants have successfully transitioned into skilled trades careers while overcoming challenges such as substance abuse, unstable environments, and other high-risk circumstances.
